Healthy Recipes for Begginers

Ice cream yogurt shops are everywhere. Here's a recipe how to make your own Home Made Organic Frosty Berry Shakes which you may have in the morning as a probiotic for breakfast. You may just freeze all ingredients and blend it using a high speed Blender like Vita-Mix or Vital Oxygen and whoala you have your Organic Ice Cream Yogurt. You may blend it with Organic Pastures fresh raw colostrum or colostrum powder with frozen blueberries, strawberries, and/or cherries, and stevia. I looove the colostrum - it's highly nutritious and makes smoothies super creamy!

Speaking of which, you may get your organic yogurt at Rizal Dairy or make your own using Carabao milk with yogurt/kefir starter from Healthy Options frozen section. Both of which can be found at Market Market ! Here's another recipe for you..

Organic Mango Yogurt

Ingredients

1 cup frozen sliced ripe Organic Mango (Mara's Organic Market)
1 cup Organic yogurt
1/4 cup coconut water or 1 tablespoon VCO (optional)
Seeds of 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
2 drops stevia or peppermint essential oil (or mint extract, to taste)

Blend all but the coconut oil, until smooth.
Add the oil and blend to incorporate.
You may chill for a few hours before eating.

Green Giant Juice

For this recipe I used Matstone Juicer (you may contact Glen Pascua for actual demo 0917 8389150). It's specifically designed to extract juices from green leafy vegetables. You may replace Brocolli leaves with any talbos you desire (e.g. talbos ng camote, sayote, ampalaya for diabetics, etc..) as soon as your palette have adjusted to the Greens.

Ingredients

1 bunch Broccoli Leaves
1/2 head Romaine Lettuce
1 apple
4 stalks celery
1 lemon peeled

Juice all ingredients. Garnish with lemon slices and mint. Serve Immediately.

I few days ago I whipped up a hearty Broccoli Kalabasa Soup! I decided something warm to compliment the rainy day. While I don't have an exact recipe for this one since it was a "throw together", below is the best I could come up with ..

Broccoli Kalabasa Soup

For this recipe I used a hand held blender but any blender can do the job. You may also use a other spices like tumeric, cinnamon and nutmeg. Some herbs maybe added too.

Ingredients

1/2 small Kalabasa about 2 cups cubed
1 cup Brocolli florets
1/2 cup coconut milk with 1/2 cup warm water
1 apple peeled, cored and diced
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup sweet oinion

Jalapeno & cayenne pepper for garnish

Steam the kalabasa and broccoli florets (5 to 12 minutes). In the blender place the remaining ingredients and add the steamed kalabasa. Blend well and transfer in a bowl. Garnish with broccoli, red Jalapeno and cayenne pepper. Serve while warm.

This soup keeps well in a jar in the refrigerator.

Red Cabbage Slaw in Ginger Carrot Dressing

In this recipe it is served with dehydrated mock meat loaf topped with tomato salsa and garnish with honey mustard dressing. Can you believe everything in this plate is RAW..

SLAW

2 cups red cabbage, sliced
1/2 zucchini, sliced
2 Tablespoons white onion, chopped

DRESSING
2 teaspoons ginger
1 clove garlic
1 small carrot
1 teaspoon mellow white miso, unpasturized
3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 segments of lemon

To make Slaw, place all ingredients into a mixing bowl.

To make Dressing, place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

To serve, place Slaw into 2 salad bowls. Top with Dressing and serve.

To serve, top with sliced beets, cucumber or daikon and serve.

Simple Chia Pudding

This is three 3 ingredient pudding and its slightly sweet, creamy and soothing. I prefer to use buco (young coconuts) for puddings and ice cream. Make a big batch and keep it on hand in the fridge for 3 days. If you want a more diluted milk, add extra water.

Blend 1 part coconut meat with 2 parts water. Blend until smooth.

- Shake 1 cup coconut milk with 1-2 tablespoons chia seed in a jar with a tight lid.
- Allow the mixture to sit for 10-20 minutes for the chia to swell.
- If you find the pudding too thick, simply add more milk. If it's too liquidy, add more chia and shake it all together again.
- Optional: Add 1 drop stevia, cinnamon, and vanilla (I like it both plain and with these additions). Add 1 part ripe mango puree and you've got something similar to the Mango Sago (Tapioca) dessert mostly found in Chinese Restaurants.

ENJOY !

  1. I have suffered from adenomyosis with severe cramps during and after my period. It was very painful and heavy bleeding and severe lower back pain my pain was unbearable to a point of being not able to move and a stabbing like pain on the left of my ovaries. Pain goes away when a clot comes out. But it took a while for the clot to come out. After several meetings with my gynaecologist which she suggested "Hysterectomy" but I refused I know what Hysterectomy is and how heart aching it can be then she stated that Allopathic treatment will help in pain management but it will not cure the disease. I started treatment with a drug named "endoheal 2 mg". This gave me pain relief but reduced my periods almost to no periods with numerous side effects - spotting and fluctuation in my dates. I was not mentally satisfied to bear the side effects so I came across ''Ayurvedic doctor" who started my treatment with herbs. Though I continued above drug 'endoheal 2 mg'" parallel for nine months for easy pain management. From then I continued taking the treatment. It reduced the size of my lesion but did not reduce it further after few months. And there was no relief in pain during menstruation but my Dr. Advised me to continue it during 3 months without any gap. I had noticed a quick ageing of my skin in the last 2 years. I am a smoker but for some reason I feel my quick ageing has to do with something else because I have been smoking for a long time and it's only recently that I noticed a fast decline of my skin elasticity. After then pain radiates very badly in my left leg, lower left back and left side of my vagina. The pain normally start anytime during 3, 5,6 days, but at time I had to take a painkiller for this also as it irritates whole day. Then pain disappears after fews day. My digestion was slow but Dr. Ronnie's supplements has improved it impossible situations is becoming possible miracles gradually.

I was lucky to read in the internet about a lady who was cured from Adenomyosis through Herbal Medication. I contacted Ronnie through an email address I got from a testimony shared on the internet. Without further delay I made an order, I switched over to it. I had great breakthrough, that in the first month, I was already testifying of the effective of the Herbal medication. After 3months course of taken the medicine, all symptoms were gone. It has been 1 year and four months since I became free from adenomyosis. Anyone who is not in my position would not understand what I went through, the heart break, the pain and how frustrated I was for 6 odd years. Believe me, it was hell. I am so happy; I never believed I will be this happy again in life. My story is quite lengthy, it might help you too. You may contact Dr. Ronnie to know more via his email on. ronniemd70@gmail.com
